The Male God Ended Up in the Wrong Body

A body-swap story about the rich and romantic heartthrob Jiang Shaoxuan and Mo Ge, a poor, fat woman with a dominatrix kink.

On her way home after working overtime, Mo Ge witnesses a murder. While fleeing, she runs into her boss, Jiang Shaoxuan, and the two are knocked unconscious in a car accident. The killer catches up and hits Jiang Shaoxuan over the head with a club before escaping.

They wake up in the hospital and discover that their souls have swapped bodies!

If his girlfriends found out he'd become an ugly, tacky fat guy, they'd laugh themselves to death!

So Jiang Shaoxuan "grits his teeth and bears the humiliation" as he pretends to be Mo Ge.

Of course, a soul swap has its perks, such as...

Jiang Shaoxuan: Maybe we could try yuri?

Mo Ge: If you try yuri, I'll go for yaoi. Let's see which of us does more damage.

The title is taken from Drop Dead Diva. The story is told mostly from the male lead's perspective, though there are also chapters from the female lead's perspective. They don't end up together, but they become soulmates. It's not a tragic ending.

This story is entirely fictional. All places, characters, and events in it are unrelated to any real-world places, people, or events.

The inspiration came from an idea I had about creating a character who was my complete opposite in every way. Around that time, I also read a very funny romance novel, and that gave me this story.

A lot has happened recently, so I want to make this clear: please don't overanalyze it! It's essentially a romantic comedy. Don't read too much into my story.

Theme: A man and a woman from vastly different backgrounds swap identities, experience different lives, and learn to understand each other.
