The Emerald Case Files [Infinite]

A sudden disaster swept across humanity, transforming the Earth. After order was restored, people discovered that many mysterious spaces had quietly appeared throughout the world.

Destroying these spaces could bring resources, wealth, and even supernatural abilities.

Failing to do so, however, could cost them their lives.

People called them "Realms."

The enormous rewards sparked a frenzy of Realm exploration.

To manage the situation, the government established the Ability Bureau, an organization tasked with maintaining order.

One day, the Ability Bureau received word that Emerald, Realm 1218, an Event Realm, had become unstable. To resolve the anomaly, the Bureau tried working with Spring, a civilian Realm-exploration group rumored to be full of villains and heretics, for the first time.

The Bureau sent Cui Shan, a senior officer they had spent years training. Spring sent a madman who had been locked up for years and had lost his memory.

At first, they expected one plus one to equal one. But before long, Cui Shan realized that Spring really was just as they claimed

Entirely sincere.

Every profession competes for results, and every industry has its own rat race.

Realm 1218, Emerald, is an Event Realm combining survival, mystery, detective work, and the supernatural. Its excellent story and insane difficulty had kept it safely in the clear until now. Then everything went off the rails, with the arrival of its most difficult protagonist ever: Xiao Yao.

He had the most elegant appearance, the gentlest voice, and...

The strongest mind.

He moved with effortless precision, predicted events with confidence and decisiveness, tore through the progress bar, and charmed a whole string of ghosts.

At the end of the instance, the ghosts watched him approach in trembling fear. Then

He shoved the lollipop in his mouth into the back of the throne that marked the end of the challenge.

Xiao Yao: Why are you making that face? I'm not a pervert :)

The ghosts: ...As if we'd believe that!

Please note:

1. The main setting is the modern world.

2. The protagonist loses his memory from the start, but it doesn't affect his performance. The instances are his home turf. Warning: the protagonist is unhinged, doesn't play by the rules, and is the strongest fighter on the planet. This is meant to be stress relief, so it's an ultimate power fantasy.

3. The protagonist's group has five members. Apart from the protagonist and Brother Cui, the others will appear gradually. There is no romance.

Theme: Keep hope in your heart. Though the road is full of thorns, it will open onto a bright future.
