The top-tier star group E-ternity climbed together from the bottom to the top. After spending several years at the height of their fame, they finally announced their disbandment.

As a boy band renowned for its strong group bond, E-ternity had enough popular pairings for every possible combination of two members.

Except for the lead singer Tan Qian and the rapper Cui Ziye.

While they were bandmates, the two got along like a cup of lukewarm water: neither cold nor warm. After disbanding, they went their separate ways and had nothing to do with each other.

Two years later, a hugely popular dating show announced its final pair of regular guests.

E-ternity's former lead singer, Tan Qian, and E-ternity's former rapper, Cui Ziye.

Everyone was in an uproar.

Before filming began, the media conducted their usual interviews and asked about their relationship.

Cui Ziye kept a straight face. "Former bandmate. What do you want?"

Tan Qian remained composed. "Former boyfriend. What's the problem?"
