Heart-Pounding Love

The cool-headed, self-reliant poor girl x the sweet, childlike Jin Zhen

Lu Yanzhi and Jin Shizhen first met at a wedding.

Back then,

one was a world-famous superstar,

and the other was a poor little thing struggling to make ends meet.

Yet somehow, these two

stared at each other

for a full hour

at that wedding.

The bandmates asked the two of them what their place was at home.

Jin Shizhen was drinking and shamelessly declared,

"Come on, obviously I'm the boss..."

Lu Yanzhi just smiled without saying a word.

Everyone thought that was really how things were,

until one day...

they saw Jin Shizhen standing in the corner as punishment.

Lu Yanzhi hadn't actually planned on saying yes to Jin Shizhen,

because there was such a huge gap between them.

Until that evening

she saw Jin Shizhen crouched by the flower bed downstairs from her building,

looking utterly pitiful.

His eyes and cheeks were red...

He looked like he was drunk.

She hesitated, then took a step toward him,

and he quickly grabbed the hem of her clothes.

Jin Shizhen looked up, pouting,

and pleaded aggrievedly:

"Yanyan... don't be with anyone else..."
