The Mermaid's Tale

1.

The deep sea where Jiang Yuqi lived became polluted, so she had no choice but to crawl back onto land, forced to part from her friends.

To make matters worse, she couldn't find the home she'd lived in before.

Her stomach rumbled with hunger, too.

Jiang Yuqi was so upset she nearly cried.

Luckily, she met someone with a red marker floating above their head, and saw...

The fragrant roast suckling pig on the long table.

One day, the cast of "Hwarang" released some behind-the-scenes footage. The actors were talking in front of the camera, but everyone was suddenly drawn to a figure in the corner.

She was crouching on the ground in beggar's clothes, dust still smudged across her face. She looked up at the woman handing out boxed lunches and smiled sweetly.

[Even the beggar in this production is so beautiful...]

[Give the little beggar more screen time TvT]

Later, the director asked Jiang Yuqi if she wanted to play another role.

Jiang Yuqi thought for a few seconds, then looked up and asked, "Does it come with meals?"

3.

As a child, Kim Taehyung heard more stories about mermaids than anything else. He always firmly believed that mermaids existed somewhere in the deep sea.

People said he was naive and innocent. Every time, Kim Taehyung just smiled without saying a word.

Until one day...

He found a mermaid in the bathtub of his hotel room, her fish tail shimmering with tiny points of light.

More importantly...

That mermaid's face looked incredibly familiar.

Jiang Yuqi looked up at Kim Taehyung with a pitiful expression, her voice sweet and coquettish:

"I'm sorry... I was so thirsty."
