Mythical Beast Daycare

After graduating, Jian Shi spent two years as a corporate drone in a big city. His workload kept growing, his overtime kept running later, and his hair kept thinning.

Just as he was about to snap, a letter arrived from his hometown: his only uncle had died unexpectedly, leaving him an inn called Danshui and... an egg.

Jian Shi returned to his hometown to take over the inn, and gained three employees in the process.

A chef who sneaks bites while cooking, a server who can strip away someone's privacy with a single glance, and a driver who spends all year holed up in the storeroom counting grains of rice...

It wasn't until the egg hatched into a little red chick that Jian Shi realized the inn's employees weren't human at all!!!

The little red chick refuses to perch anywhere but a parasol tree, eat anything but phoenix fruit, or drink anything but sweet spring water.

Not only is it picky and spoiled, it's also bad-tempered, kicking Taotie in the morning and punching Bai Ze in the afternoon...

It soon became the kindergarten's biggest bully, and the nonhuman parents started showing up one after another.

Jian Shi: Kiddo! Dad can't beat them!

One day, to boost business at the inn, Jian Shi, whose hair was getting thinner by the day, had no choice but to offer new services and put up an advertisement:

A passing great demon: I've got a fortune, but I'm missing a partner.

A few things to know:

1. The parents are the main couple; expect everyday child-raising scenes.

2. Side couples will appear.

3. Still no angst, just sweetness.

4. Life is hard enough, so let's not hurt each other. If it's not your thing, just click away. Kisses.

5. I'll add more if I think of anything.
