Pei Ming was a young, handsome slacker. He spent his days loafing around at court, eating snacks and gossiping, and picking fights with people. His only ambition in life was to coast along until he died.
He never expected that when the Turks invaded from the northwest, the emperor would toss him into the army to spy on his second brother, Prince Wu, who was leading the troops in the field.
Prince Wu, Si Xuan, was handsome, brilliant in both letters and arms, a master strategist, gentle and kind, and a man who treated scholars with respect. He was a royal general worthy of being remembered in the history books.
Unfortunately, his achievements were so great that his head wasn't particularly secure on his shoulders.
Pei Ming took a closer look. "Oh, isn't this the beauty who saved my life back then? With Prince Wu looking like that, I'd follow him even if it meant trouble."
And so, Pei Ming, a total pretty-boy admirer, happily set off.
The two traveled to the northwest. Amid the smoke of war and bloodshed, they were wary of each other, yet drawn to each other. They'd work together one day and fall out the next. Life was thrilling.
After their great victory, when the army returned to Chang'an, the person linked to Pei Ming in the city's storytellers' gossip changed from the emperor to Prince Wu.
When asked about it, Si Xuan lowered his eyes and smiled gently. "It is my duty as a younger brother to help ease my elder brother's burden."
Pei Ming: "Certainly. Taking care of Prince Wu's personal affairs is also my duty as his subject."
The emperor: "...I sent you to fight a war, not to flirt with each other."
The ink-black hawk takes flight by night, the Azure Dragon coils through clouds. Such everlasting splendor, best shared beneath heaven and earth.

Both leads are Mary Sues, equally skilled in civil and military arts.
They only have eyes for each other, and they fall for each other at about the same time.

Immortal Lord Xi Yun is admired throughout the Three Realms. He's beautiful, cold, and powerful. Aside from the Heavenly Emperor's faction, who fear his achievements might eclipse their own, everyone loves him.
One after another, people pursue him, but Xi Yun remains as unshakable as a mountain of ice. Just when everyone thinks he'll spend his life alone, Demon Lord Cang Han drops from the sky and spirits Xi Yun away to his home.
In the ghost city, vengeful spirits howl and the air reeks of blood. Yet Cang Han seems to stand amid a grove of peach blossoms as he interlaces his fingers with Xi Yun's and says with a warm smile:
"Three hundred years ago, the Immortal Lord and I hit it off at first sight and traveled together. Then we turned against each other and crossed swords. After three hundred years of secluded cultivation, cut off from the world, has your heart finally found peace?"
Xi Yun silently meets his gaze. The prophecy about his fate surges into his mind once more, and countless nightmares come flooding in.
"In this life, I will never speak of love with the Demon Lord."
Then heaven and earth are overturned, and calamity descends upon the Three Realms. Xi Yun breaks his vow, and Cang Han gets his wish. Their fates foretell that they will be parted in life and death, but even if their souls are scattered, they are determined to meet the same end together.
When peace finally returns and the two retreat from the world, someone asks Cang Han how he melted ice into spring water and made snow give way to blooming flowers. Cang Han only smiles. "You need a thick enough skin, a deep enough plan, and the courage to follow your heart. And the person you love has to be soft-hearted enough, too."
The green mountains seem so enchanting to me. I imagine they must see me the same way.

I started reading it yesterday and now I have read the whole article. I am very happy that I came across this article! I really like Dada's style. It's the kind of feeling where there's an aftertaste even when it's plain. The writing is smooth and the plot is unconventional. Especially the design of the conflict between Si Xuan's mother's grave being destroyed. The more I think about it, the better it gets. Hhhh (p. S. Yesterday, a friend was still complaining about the article he saw recently: "In a week, I have been slandered by five or six real and fake young masters, and I have been infamous. In the end, a dozen Bai Yueguangs were actually killed by me, seven in and seven out.")
I chased after me from Huaiyin Wall. After reading the settings, I happily looked at the catalog. I found that there were only more than 60 chapters. I was a little reluctant to read it. I spent a whole day reading it carefully. I liked it so much. It is my favorite and the most difficult to encounter evenly matched love. Two excellent people are attracted to each other.
