Bruce pushed himself up from the bed. His muscles and bones groaned with pain.
He held his head in his hands. The force of the avalanche might have swept him to the foot of a cliff or down some hillside, but there was no way it could have carried him all the way to the inn at the foot of the mountain.
Bruce was worried about the League of Assassins, which had been burned down. He didn't know whether Ducard was still alive.
He jumped out of bed and searched the entire room, but found no clues or notes.
At last, he rolled up his pajama sleeve and found a line of writing on his arm.
"I saved Ducard. I know you wanted to, too."
Bruce touched the writing. The handwriting was exactly like his own.
But I definitely didn't write this myself. I was unconscious earlier.
Bruce had finally found proof.
There was another personality inside his body.
That personality would come out and act whenever he lost consciousness.
But it didn't seem malicious, nor was it eager to take over his body. If it weren't for its compulsion to move his body to bed after he passed out...
Bruce might never have noticed it.
Sleeping didn't bring out the other personality, and Batman didn't pass out every day.
So Bruce had very little contact with the other personality.
It wasn't until the later incident with the evil sorcerer that Bruce heard its voice for the first time.
A voice that seemed steeped in honey rang out in his heart.
"Why should I stay here with you? I want to go back and eat cookies~"
"...When did you steal my cookies...?"
"...Huh, you can hear me!"
From then on, the two personalities began living together for real.
Bruce Wayne x Bruce (a strange showdown between two irresistible heartthrobs)
Some out-of-character moments are inevitable.
