Mora was destroyed by war and old age.
As a survivor, Roland Agnes came to Earth with his only family member, the little Mora beast CC, who still couldn't freely control its shapeshifting.
According to the news from space, Earth was a peaceful, friendly planet.
A group of righteous heroes protected this blue treasure.
Roland asked the people of Earth where the heroes were based. He planned to settle nearby.
To his surprise, it was easy to find a house near their base.
Roland waited inside the house.
Soon he saw the white Superman flying in the sky, the gray Batman patrolling the ground, and the other legendary heroes.
But perhaps the news from space had gotten things wrong.
Their colors weren't quite what the stories had said.
Roland thought color wasn't the point. The important thing was heroes and peace.
But when White Superman chased a fugitive into Roland's little shop and announced, right in front of him, that the criminal would undergo a frontal lobotomy,
Roland finally realized the news from space could get you killed.
Earth was changing, and its peace was only skin-deep. The resistance forces lurking in the shadows would eventually bring about the fiercest of wars.
