After Losing the Family Feud, I Became an Immortal

The whole story needs revision. The version posted over the past two days was an old draft, so I've had to lock it for now. Sorry. orz As the rightful heir to a wealthy family, Wei Yiran is driven out by the illegitimate son her father has been backing. In the end, all she can do is take over her maternal grandparents' business: A shabby little inn deep in the mountains, with holes in the roof that let the rain pour in. On her first day running the inn, Wei Yiran gets an impeccably dressed "guest" and an unexpected "inheritance": Guest: "Hello. Are you Wei Yiran, child of the Immortal Yuhua?" Wei Yiran: "Maybe... I am?" Guest: "Well, I'm an official from the Heavenly Court's Immortal Registry. Immortal Yuhua's good fortune has run its course, and she has become an immortal. As her blood relative, you are also eligible to become one. Please sign this confirmation of blood relation so you can report to the Heavenly Court as soon as possible." Wei Yiran: "???" And so Wei Yiran becomes an immortal by running an inn and cuddling demons. This isn't a conventional cultivation novel. It could also be called "After My Scumbag Dad Stripped Me of My Heir Status, I Inherited My Mom's Wealth and Became a Second-Generation Immortal" or "I Became an Immortal by Running an Inn and Cuddling Demons." 1. Daily updates. 2. Fundamentally a cozy, sweet story, with some face-slapping too. 3. The love interest is an immortal as well. Theme: Even when life hits rock bottom, don't be afraid. Keep striving, and you'll find a new path and achieve something different.
