Raising a Strange Beast

A short story~

Please give From Villainess to Everyone's Beloved a follow~

Lan Mosi is a princess of the Landin Empire, and her father is the empire's regent.

While hunting in the snowy mountains, her father captured a snow wolf. Her younger sister liked it and took it for herself.

One day, Lan Mosi was knocked down by the snow wolf and lost consciousness.

Afterward, she had a dream.

In the dream, the snow wolf was not a wolf, but a beast. Beasts were a species of nonhuman who turned into humans when they came of age.

The snow wolf was tortured in the palace. After escaping, it soon became a man. Bent on revenge, he joined forces with other nonhumans to found an empire of their own and attack the Landin Empire.

The Landin Empire could not hold out, so it had to seek peace with the nonhuman empire through a marriage alliance.

The snow wolf demanded that Lan Mosi's younger sister marry him. When she heard the news, she ran away.

With no other choice, Lan Mosi had to marry him in her sister's place.

On their wedding night, before she even saw the grown snow wolf, she was poisoned by a cup of wine...

Lan Mosi woke from the dream. The first thing she did was carry the snow wolf, who had been hung up by her younger sister and was barely alive, back to her own palace.

To stop the dream from coming true, she decided to treat the snow wolf well and raise it to be grateful for her kindness.

In the end, Lan Mosi still entered a marriage alliance.
