It's tagged as danmei because there may be some parts that are really fun to ship (?). The Saniwa's feelings aren't romantic, so it's probably no-CP. The perspective switches around; if you insist on defining it, physically the Saniwa is the bottom, but he's the one in control. Anyway, there's no sex or romance, so ship whoever you like. It doesn't matter.
I wrote this to vent when I wasn't in a great place mentally. The whole plot gets darker and more brutal as it goes, and the protagonist is hell-bent on getting himself killed, with no one able to stop him. But as I kept writing, I started feeling better and couldn't bring myself to hurt the protagonist or the sword boys, so this is abandoned, abandoned, abandoned (repeating it three times).
Maybe if I feel worse than I did when I started this story, I'll come back and try to finish it... (I've been doing all right mentally these past few years, so I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I do like this story a lot, or I wouldn't have found it so hard to hurt them.)
