The Holy Son Doesn't Want to Go Home

The thousand-year pact has come due. Deep in a desert no one can reach, an ancient and sacred city has finally awakened once more.

It waits in silence.

The Holy Son is about to return.

A demon bound to the city by a contract for over a thousand years appeared before a young man.

"Come with me. Wealth, beauties, power, and everything else: Whatever you want, I will make it come true."

The low voice that spilled from the handsome demon's lips was like a key tempting people to fall into hell.

Yes, he would give this person everything he wanted.

He would take him back to that city and break the seal for him.

The moment the contract became void and he regained his freedom would be the moment this man, who had sealed him away for a thousand years, died at his hands!

The young man, desperately cramming for tomorrow's exam, looked up.

"Can you make sure I pass my exam tomorrow?"

The demon: "???"

Dead silence. A long pause.

"Make a different request."

"No, I want to pass tomorrow's exam."

"..."

"Come with me. Return to the city that belongs to you, and you will be its king!"

"...It's not easy to live for over a thousand years and still be this embarrassingly edgy."

"???"

This is a story about a demon sealed away for a thousand years falling in love with the reincarnation of his enemy, like an old tree blooming again or an old house catching fire.

I could never fall in love with my enemy!

...Well, this is good.
