A Little Priest's Diary of Raising Cats (and Lions)

[Your ancestor is dead.] ??? [So you're gone too.] ? ...!!! To keep his ancestor alive and make sure he himself would continue to exist in the future, Miya had no choice but to return to the country where he had lived in a previous life: the ancient Sea Kingdom. There, he had to save the man who was supposedly destined to become a great emperor, but was raised all wrong as a child and ultimately became a ruthless tyrant. ...What should he do about this vain, arrogant, spoiled, nasty Persian cat of a golden-haired man? He really wanted to beat him to death. [Your ancestor is dea, ] All right, I don't want to. Reforming a tyrant starts when he's young. Burdened with the glorious mission of saving himself (mainly) and setting history back on course to save the world (as a side project), Miya worked hard to straighten out someone's already warped personality and values... Wait, how did he end up bent in another sense of the word??? The king (gripping the other's chin): "I understand now how you feel about me... I hereby allow you to give yourself to me." (A king's veiled proposal, from someone so nervous he nearly forgot his lines) The little priest (chin in his grasp): "???" I don't, I don't want to, don't make things up. Miya decided this couldn't go on. It was time to take his leave after completing his mission (by dying and making a getaway). But... Did I successfully fake my death today? No. The king had watched the person he loved 'die' before his eyes time and time again. After finally learning the truth, he said, "...Heh." (His corruption meter was climbing like crazy.) [One-on-one romance, childhood friends, king and priest, happy ending] [The little priest is E in close combat and S in archery] [I'm a kind, gentle author who always writes happy endings] Note: A slow-burn story, not fast-paced. Chuunibyou style, anime-inspired, doted on by everyone. The author's heart is a bubble, and it pops at the slightest touch. If you don't like it, please feel free to click the X. Let's all get along.
