A story sparked by a single case.
During the Tang Dynasty, the entire Zhang household was wiped out, enraging the Empress Dowager.
She dispatched Li Su, Vice Minister of the Court of Judicial Review, and officials from the Ministry of Justice to Shu Commandery to investigate.
Thus, a century of darkness came to an end.

That "person" burst into laughter.
Li Su's hand closed around the hilt of his sword. He stared intently at the figure. "What did the Zhang family do to you...?"
"Zhang?" That "person" tilted its head. Its voice suddenly changed. "Bah! They don't deserve it. You think people like them deserve the Zhang name?!"
"A bunch of trash! Scum! They think they deserve it?!"
That "person" grew agitated. Its voice changed again and again. Several different voices spoke at once, as if arguing among themselves. Countless voices mingled together.
"Zhang Ziqing! Look, just look at these ungrateful bastards!"
"Ahhh! Kill them, kill them all!!"
"Zhang? A bunch of bastards, and they think they deserve the Zhang name!"
"I don't want to die! I don't want to die, I don't want to die!"
"Zhang Ziqing!!!"
At last, all the voices merged into the voice of the second "person." "Look! What kind of worthless dogs did you take in?!"
"Zhang Ziqing!!!"
