Why Is This NPC Like This?

Xiao Qingyan is an ordinary NPC in the full-dive online game Prosperous Age. His daily routine is treating players at the clinic, teaching medical skills, and listening to players talk about all the strange things happening in the martial world.

He doesn't get involved, just watches from the sidelines.

Until one day, he returned from gathering herbs to find his house had collapsed and the kind old man who had taken him in was dead.

Xiao Qingyan: "..."

Xiao Qingyan walked out with his sword in hand...

Player A: Holy crap, isn't Qingqing supposed to be a frail doctor who can only whimper and cough up blood at the drop of a hat?!

Player B: Holy crap, you're level 20. How can you be this ruthless?!

Player C: Holy crap, I got Qingqing's legendary hidden quest!

Player D: Holy crap, I'm never taking a Demon Cult quest again! Don't kill me! Why does an NPC know how to camp a corpse?!

Players: Holy crap, this NPC is broken!

[Content Warnings: 1. Full-dive online game story, with two NPCs. The martial world's number-one beauty and sword god gong x amnesiac shou with secret identities that peel away like the layers of an onion.

2. You can also read it as a costume-style fantasy. The players belong to the Fourth Disaster, and in the protagonist's eyes, they're all laborers.

3. No logic, no writing skills. The protagonist is as smart as the author, and the author is very stupid. Just enjoy the sweetness.

4. Be kind to the author. Give her more comments and encouragement, and no picking fights or flame wars.]
