A Cat Demon's Daily Life Raising Ferocious Beasts

Lihua is a cat demon.

He works like a drudge at a general store full of powerful figures.

One day, the boss has a baby boy and, in a fit of kindness, sets him free.

He thinks his future will be bright, beautiful, and full of hope.

But then his fox master suddenly dumps a human toddler on him.

"This child is fated to you. Take care of him for a few days."

How are they fated to each other?

Lihua spends three years trying to figure it out.

Later, he realizes his master really is an old fox. Somehow, in just one sentence, he managed to tell three lies.

First, this little brat who bites him whenever he gets angry isn't even human!

Second, he's a law-abiding demon. There's no way he's fated to a great ferocious beast!

Third, it's not just a few days of looking after him. It's for the rest of his life, for crying out loud!

"Want to date? I'm the kind who'll eat you if you break up with me."

Life's not easy. The kitty sighs.
