[Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio] Can’t a Femme Fatale Claim the Throne?

A filial daughter is a lovely daughter.

Wrapped in the lovely guise of a little widow, A Yuan became a beauty whose reputation as a femme fatale was known throughout the land.

As the number of her "late husbands" grew, so did her territory.

Until one day, the newly enthroned King of Wu came to discuss a partnership with her. She smiled brightly at him. "I think Your Highness looks very much like my late husband."

A Yuan: So, how about considering an early death? I'm waiting to inherit your estate.

The several "late husbands" behind her jumped about, making all sorts of comments and even guessing when the King of Wu would die.

Unfortunately for them, the cur who was the King of Wu was still alive and well even after A Yuan ascended the throne.
