▌Blurb

Tong Niao had always been "the child other people's parents wished they had."

Sensible, obedient, and never dating too young.

But the very moment she got into a prestigious university and joined a new club, she knew the nature she'd suppressed for over a decade was finally ready to break free!

She pursued the literature department's campus heartthrob with all her might for an entire semester.

Just as their relationship was about to take the final step, the school went on break. No problem. Next semester, everything would bloom again. A night of passion couldn't wait...

For the six days before break, Tong Niao flirted with her beloved campus heartthrob through a screen.

That was until her mother showed up with a kind-faced man.

The day after Tong Niao happily accepted him, she met the son of her mother's new husband.

Huh?

Her crush had become her step-

"Shu is older than you, so just call him big brother."

"Oh, stepbrother."

She'd really ended up with a big brother now...

With trembling hands, Tong Niao decided to delete the whole string of "good big brother" messages from their chat.

It takes only three steps to put an elephant in a refrigerator.

By the same logic, Tong Niao and Bai Xiangshu's romance has only three steps left.

Step one: Open the front door.

Step two: Put ... in the bedroom.

Step three: Lock the door.
