Tale Eater [Infinite]

Male lead with a split personality: an aloof Demon Lord / a goofy, doting husband

Female lead has amnesia

Mu Xiaoxiao and Zi Muyu were betrothed as children and raised together by Mu Xiaoxiao's father. They grew up as childhood friends and novice exorcists.

Who could have guessed that as soon as her father passed away, Zi Muyu would rush to break off the engagement? He had fallen for a beautiful fox demon who had cultivated for a thousand years. Using demon hunting as an excuse, he followed her around every day. And while he was at it, he got the unfortunate Mu Xiaoxiao, caught in the middle, killed.

After Mu Xiaoxiao died an unjust death, she never entered the cycle of reincarnation. Instead, she drifted through Ghost City as a wandering spirit for several hundred years.

It wasn't until her grave in the world of the living was sold and she somehow became the ghost bride of some young upstart that she finally shed her status as an unregistered ghost in the underworld.

Her ghost groom had apparently been a rich second-generation heir in life. Her bargain-bin husband had a gorgeous face, but nothing inside but useless chaff.

To earn enough points as soon as possible to divorce this pretty face with nothing behind it, Mu Xiaoxiao became a low-ranking enforcer at the Strange Tales Devouring Bureau, Devourer No. 999.

And so her journey of devouring strange tales began.

Male lead: A human koala, clingy cuddle addict, plays the pig to eat the tiger, and has had a plan all along.

Female lead: Cool and unflappable, slow on the uptake, falls in love after marriage, loyal and devoted, and fiercely protective of her husband.
