Hello, Ex-Boyfriend

[New novel, Above the Dust of the World, is now underway. Please add it to your favorites.]

On the highway to Lijiang,

Lin Xiao rear-ends the SUV in front of her.

The man who steps out is wearing a pair of black military boots.

His clothes are immaculate.

His trouser legs are tucked tightly into his boots.

Above his black T-shirt is a face she would recognize even if it were reduced to ashes.

For ten years, she imagined countless scenarios in which they would meet again.

She never imagined it would happen like this.

If there were someone

who, from the moment you first met,

you knew you would follow for the rest of your life,

would you love her?

Ten years ago, I never thought I'd see you again.

Ten years later, I still didn't dare hope I could love you again.

A story about first love. This one's for you.

Lu Bei and Lin Xiao

you cannot lose yourself in comfort.

Su Haochen's departure

was the beginning of Ye Ruyin's awakening from her dream.

My first love, the one my heart yearns for.

Only when the land is at peace can I face you without regret.

May I turn around one day and still find you among the distant lights...
