I Broke My Literary Idol's Bones

Blurb: The author currently holding the number-one spot on the bestselling fiction charts is Shen Jinghong, a writer of Chinese folklore mysteries. He's the softest spot in every young literature lover's heart. Even sports-loving Qiao Danqing, whose only way of praising someone is to say "Holy crap," is hooked on his updates and regards him as an idol. But Shen Jinghong keeps coming up with new excuses to delay his updates: a broken hand today, a concussion tomorrow. He can't even come up with a remotely believable excuse. Readers flame him mercilessly, then still have to ask: Master Shen, are you updating tomorrow? * During his sophomore summer break, Qiao Danqing finally got his driver's license, only to get into a traffic accident the next day. He hit a ridiculously handsome guy who looked like he was sleepwalking. The handsome guy refused to let him off the hook. After a long argument, Qiao Danqing somehow ended up as his unpaid caretaker. Qiao Danqing deeply regretted it. Aside from being handsome, the guy didn't have a single redeeming quality. He was not only sharp-tongued and bad-tempered, he was also utterly incapable of looking after himself. * On his third day as a miserable caretaker, Qiao Danqing stared at the name on a delivery package for a few seconds, then dropped to his knees beside the handsome guy's bed. "I'm guilty," Qiao Danqing confessed through tears. "I've failed all those readers waiting eagerly for updates. I'm the one who broke the bones of their literary idol." He had to put Shen Jinghong on a pedestal and serve him with absolute devotion right this instant! Shen Jinghong: "Good. Keep up that level of service." * One day later, Qiao Danqing thought he must have fallen in love. Even though Shen Jinghong was sharp-tongued, bad-tempered, and utterly incapable of looking after himself. But he was so adorable.
