When a group of extraordinary people are forced to take part in an experiment, blood ties, friendship, and love are shattered and torn apart. Rebellion and rebuilding unfold in the post-apocalyptic world.
Maze designer x second-in-command of the Gladers
"I think I still love you. I never understood why, but loving you is no more explainable than loving a sunset."
The author has only seen the movies and the prequel, The Scorch Trials, so the plot follows the movies entirely, with a few deviations. I’ll try not to add any original settings unless the plot requires them. I can’t say whether the main plot or romance takes precedence; they complement each other.
The heroine is a native of this world and a former experiment designer. Her painting and math skills are maxed out, and she has a certain knack for comedy.
The relationships among the main cast before they entered the experiment facility are explored, briefly but abstractly. The relationships among the main cast inside the facility are explored, chaotically and abstractly! The romance doesn’t have many ups and downs. It’s not exactly sweet, but it’s not angsty either. I like peaceful, lasting relationships.
This is my first work, and it’s rough around the edges in every way. The prose and plot are both a mess, so thank you for your patience. I’ll keep working hard, but I also have my own style that I don’t want to give up. I like expressing my values, but I’m open to constructive discussion. If it really isn’t for you, feel free to click the top-left corner. I hope you enjoy reading~

It's over… There's a feeling of melancholy and loss. I have been with the protagonists who I have loved for a long time and have gone on many adventures together. It seems that all the things I have experienced with them have ended in the end, but their stories continue. I am very happy to have found a treasure wife in the cold circle. Thank you to my wife for fulfilling many difficult wishes and creating a flesh-and-blood Xiaoxia, giving Newt a person who loves him. My wife really wrote it very well, it is simply a fairy tale!!! When I finally finished reading the whole article, I was really sad, as if I had lost something. Newt's dream was so well written. I felt like I was reading the text but still had images from the movie in my mind (I was stabbed again T^T). The relationship between Xiaoxia and Newt has been sublimated, because he loves Xiaoxia, he also has Sonia, and he wants Xiaoxia and Sonia to live, so he does his best. The setting of the wife is particularly interesting. Xiaoxia and Gary were originally an artificially close relationship, and they were supposed to be artificial lovers (just like they were originally an official couple). Unexpectedly, the relationship broke through the artificial settings, and I truly fell in love with Newt, who was not set up for experiments. This kind of emotion can even break through the control of the brain card. It is obvious that they are under the control of the organization and cannot help themselves, but their emotional spirits are working hard to break the cage. Teresa should be a villain who is not a villain. Her experience made her obsession too deep. She chose Xiaoxia in the end even though her mind did not change. But I think she should know that what Peggy did was wrong, so in the end she pulled Peggy to die together. And it can be seen that Thomas still has deep feelings for her. It's romantic, and I'm very relieved that Brenda and Chuck are having a little relationship (although... But a man like Thomas who wavers between two girls is not allowed.) I still have a lot of thoughts, but the English homework is about to be due... (I want foreigners to die!), My wife wrote it so well, I love it so much, and finally... It's over!!! Throw flowers!!!
N I read it. I read it every time I think about it. I feel it is the best Newt fanfic (no comment, just my personal opinion)...
Will there be a sister for Newt?
Sonia!!!! It's Lizzie, Newt's sister. Oh my god, I'm so moved. This is the first time I've seen a wife write this.
Come on, woo woo hoo hey hey hey
So innocent, it's great to still be able to read Maze Runner in 2023
A permanent resident of the Arctic Circle, I warmed up with the author in the cold pit
I laughed so hard, hahahaha, one late night, Thomas lost his name and then his sister, but Newt said that lovers eventually become siblings (brothers and sisters)
I hate Theresa's betrayal, but I also admire her determination to find the antidote and save the world. But I still don't like her, even though she may be willing to die for the antidote to experience the cruelty firsthand.
It's great, I love watching it, I'm still watching it in 2024
