This novel has been unlocked because I ran out of inspiration. I'll slowly finish it when inspiration strikes. A cool and detached god who takes the lead × a fanatical, obsessive follower~
Blurb 1: The divine ruler Zhu Churong was born with the Dao's Eye, able to see the fate of every living thing in the world. Before receiving a name of her own, she lived alone on Divine Ruler Mountain, sitting on her divine throne for years. She thought she could see through everything and had emptied herself of all worldly concerns.
Mortals are bound by the eight sufferings: birth, aging, illness, death, meeting those they resent, separation from loved ones, not getting what they want, and the raging of the five skandhas. Only she was free of desire and emotion, detached from love and the world.
Until one day, a madwoman clad in red and bristling with murderous intent stormed into her temple, boldly declaring that she would take the god's life...
The god gazed at her with great curiosity. From then on, she gradually descended from her divine throne, received a brand-new name, conquered her arrogant subjects, and gained the best of friends and the greatest lover in the world...
From sitting alone and cold on her throne to joining hands with that person on the path of cultivation, never parting for even a moment across lifetime after lifetime, Zhu Churong never regretted any of her choices...
One day, the god will come to your side, just as you wish.
Blurb 2: Ye Luo: I'm not your follower, but may I love you, my goddess?
The greedy human gazed intently at the lofty god, making her prey.
The god's eyes were half-lidded, the faintest curve tugging at her lips. As you wish, my subject.
Ye Luo: Your aura is so pure. I love it. May I come closer and stay by your side?
The obsessive human leaned against her and whispered in her ear, murmuring words of infatuation.
The god sang with a voice like heavenly music and opened her arms to embrace her. As you wish, my friend.
Ye Luo: My goddess, may I pull you down from your altar and have you all to myself for every lifetime?
The god gave her a tender kiss. As you wish, my love.
At some point, the god vanished, and all living beings lost their source of faith.
Meanwhile, Ye Luo, the winner of life, took the hand of her beloved pig-riding girl and wandered the mortal world, taking in all it had to offer.
The human world is wonderful. Rather than sitting high above and seeing it all in a fleeting glance, why not wander through it freely?
Much later, Zhu Churong was a god who belonged to Ye Luo alone. The world covets the gifts of the divine, but you want only me.
CP: A play-the-pig-to-eat-the-tiger, gentle and obedient, adorable top × a calculating, self-righteous, obsessive bottom.
This novel is also titled Riding a Pig to Watch the Sunset. A little scene:
Zhu Churong: Whoever turns their back on the god will be forsaken by the god forever.
Ye Luo: Big sis, the wisteria flowers back home are blooming. Make me a flower crown, will you?
Zhu Churong: All right.

Coming soon: Rereading from the Beginning: Starting with Narcissism [Book Transmigration]
1. Yuan Zhu hadn't read male-oriented fiction in years, but the empress's handwritten letter hit all the right spots. Ignoring the painful memories of male-oriented novels that had driven her away, she confidently started reading a cosmic-horror cultivation novel called The Mad Daoist Becomes an Immortal.
She stuck with it until the chapter where the empress, Donggong Xue, met her final end, but the insane, indescribable male lead, Jin Tianchen, and the wildly unpredictable plot killed her all the same!
Who the [beep] left that comment saying the romance between the male lead and the empress was incredibly sweet as they fought and fell in love? After reading every chapter featuring Donggong Xue, Yuan Zhu flipped the table. This was unquestionably the greatest scam in the history of male-oriented fiction!
The male lead was obviously just a typical womanizing scumbag, sleeping with one woman after another and unable to make up his mind. He had no patience and would slaughter a woman's entire family and destroy her country at the slightest provocation. He was nothing but a rabid, irredeemable bastard!
And the empress Donggong Xue, whom Yuan Zhu loved most for her single-minded devotion to saving her country and its people, was unquestionably the novel's greatest victim. Even after her death, she was bound to such a disgusting man in every kind of fan-created work, never allowed to rest in peace...
Yuan Zhu was heartbroken and outraged. She thought a dog of a man who couldn't appreciate what he had deserved to be ground to dust. He wasn't worth all those women risking their lives for him, giving him equipment, body, and soul while alive, then dropping even more gear and inheritance after they died.
Furious, Yuan Zhu's blood surged, and she transmigrated into the novel as her favorite empress, Donggong Xue herself!
Before she could even be shocked, a familiar sigh sounded in her mind: It's been a long time, Yuan Zhu, my other self in this world...
2. After Yuan Zhu died, her soul transmigrated to another world, where she spent her life as an empress. She knew that The Mad Daoist Becomes an Immortal did not exist in this world at all. It was merely a so-called reality that the world's deranged Heavenly Dao had created by extracting part of her memories, inventing a story she had never experienced in order to erase her as an anomaly...
Donggong Xue refused to sit around and wait to be erased at the root. On the eve of her country's fall, she used the immense national fortune coveted by the chosen one to turn back time to before the tragedy began.
But Donggong Xue never expected that, after rereading from the beginning, another Yuan Zhu would arrive in this world.
She herself took the place of the indescribable monster she had contracted all those years ago, becoming Yuan Zhu's new partner.
She couldn't help feeling relieved. Thank goodness, thank goodness the monster you met this time was me. Otherwise, in this world that has fallen completely into madness, who else would care for you unconditionally and give you everything, just to make your life more comfortable and carefree?
But Donggong Xue had transmigrated years ago and had long since become unrecognizable. She no longer remembered what she had been like before transmigrating.
She felt that fresh-faced Yuan Zhu, who had only just arrived, was nothing like the weathered Donggong Xue. Her words and actions were so innocent and romantic that they bordered on foolishness, making Donggong Xue want to pry open her head and carve the words Get a grip into it.
But perhaps people are always both more lenient and more resentful toward themselves.
Now and then, Donggong Xue would look at herself and then at Yuan Zhu, drawing strength from her to stay true to herself and keep moving forward, rather than being completely assimilated by this world and becoming a monster.
3. When Donggong Xue looked at Yuan Zhu, sometimes she thought it might be best if Yuan Zhu could always remain just Yuan Zhu. She shouldn't have to bear Donggong Xue's responsibilities and carry on.
At other times, Yuan Zhu's clear gaze would get under her skin. Why should I be the only one who became a monster, while you don't have to face any of this? She would then unleash tentacles brimming with power, tie up the chattering fool, and stare at her coldly until she shut up.
In the end, as Donggong Xue looked at her strange reflection in those innocent eyes, she suddenly realized: How is this inhuman version of me any different from the madmen in this world?
She closed her eyes, unable to bear looking at what she had become.
But an excited voice burst from the person in front of her: Just as I'd expect from myself! So cool! I love it!
Donggong Xue: ??? Has this version of me secretly mutated? Something feels off.
Donggong Xue tilted her head, studying the admiration and affection in her own eyes.
After a long while, she gently curled her lips, drew the other person closer, and said, "What did you just say? Say it again, all right?"
Yuan Zhu shyly lowered her head, her fluttering lashes hiding the darkness in her eyes: ...
Knowing the other person could sometimes hear her thoughts, she used her inner voice to craft her persona: How embarrassing. Why did I let my true feelings slip in front of Donggong Xue? Even if she's technically another version of me, I still shouldn't have done that.
P.S. One dares to dote, the other dares to tease. At heart, they spoil each other!
To borrow a line from the Ents: The coffin shouted, "They love each other so much!"
A self-pairing, self-loving doppelganger novel, where the two look like twins.
A dark, monstrous, unhinged woman × a seemingly innocent but secretly calculating little monster and former screen queen.
I'm dying laughing :D
One spent her past life tired of acting, preferring to overpower everyone with sheer force.
The other openly and secretly loves to act, completely unafraid of getting caught.
The main story has three volumes:
1. Rabid dogs need to be trained.
2. A golden age, built by you and me walking hand in hand.
3. Love means I'll always take your side.
Theme: The law of attraction. Be your own god, and be your god.
