After Getting the Rookie of the Year Award [Showbiz]

1. There's a competition-style variety show in the entertainment industry called "Search for the Next Rising Star," and it's cursed. The first season's winner, An Qianyun, had her pure and innocent image collapse and her career tank. After countless viewers questioned them, the production team launched a second "Rising Star" competition. This time they picked a top student from overseas, hoping to redeem themselves, but that contestant's career also tanked within a year...

After that, people in the entertainment industry quietly refused to appear on "Rising Star." Zhao Xingxing, a powerful investor, was deeply invested and refused to believe in the curse. She thought the first two times had just been bad luck, so the third competition began as scheduled.

2. Yang Mo'er is experiencing life in the entertainment industry. Her half-sister tells her she'll give her a spare opportunity: compete on "Search for the Next Rising Star" and win first place as payback.

Yang Mo'er, who never pays attention to trending topics, readily agrees. Then she gets selected. At the awards ceremony, the young, beautiful, and adorably sweet investor pins a medal on her and solemnly places the trophy in her hands. She pats Yang Mo'er's shoulder with an affectionate look and says, "Don't let me down, Yang Mo'er~"

Still not sure what just happened, Yang Mo'er is dazzled by her beauty and nods. Then a friend tells her she's topped the trending charts. Curious, she clicks to take a look. At last, Yang Mo'er understands how serious this is, and rushes over to Zhao Xingxing's door. "Boss, I can't handle this title. You can have it back!"

At that moment, Zhao Xingxing has just woken up. Wearing pajamas, she leans against the doorway. A flash of shock crosses her beautiful eyes, then she pouts and sheds a few crocodile tears, overcome with sadness...

Zhao Xingxing comforts her: "Don't be scared. You're a good person."

Yang Mo'er, handed a nice-person card, looks up at the sky. "Good people don't live long..."

Zhao Xingxing puts both hands on her shoulders and looks up at her pitifully. "Move in with me. I'll keep an eye on you, and you won't tank."

Yang Mo'er nearly slips: ...What's a straight girl trying to seduce a lesbian for?

A laid-back, secretly gay, loyal top x a sweet-looking, scheming straight bottom. A fluffy little romance with no real logic.

Theme: Straight girls aren't worth it. Straight girls aren't straight.
