After Going Bankrupt, I Helped a Tycoon Quit Sweets

Wen Xinxin, a second-generation returnee who had just come home, discovered that her family had gone bankrupt.

She had been planning to go home and enjoy a comfortable retirement, and couldn't take the blow. Then, by chance, she acquired a pocket dimension.

All sorts of plants grew inside it, secreting sugars tailored to different people. Eating them lifted your spirits.

Wen Xinxin: Tsk, a foodie's golden finger can only be related to food.

So, to make a living, she started selling desserts from a street stall.

Business kept growing, from a shabby little stall to an elegantly decorated dessert shop with customers coming and going all day.

Wen Xinxin: There's no problem a dessert can't solve. If there is, have another one.

Even the tech mogul in the neighboring building fell for her desserts! But, sir, you really are eating way too much!

Qiao Yang, still craving more: Are you going to help me quit?

"In Interstellar Year 170, pirates seized control of all the sugar in the universe. Mutant plants were hunted to extinction by humans and beastfolk."

"In Interstellar Year 180, the Federation was desperate for sugar. The Federation forces fought the pirates for three years, reclaiming the Sugarcane Mountains, the Granulated Sugar Desert, and the Syrup Sea. The Federation's mixed-blood fifth prince fell in battle and was posthumously granted the title Red Bean Paste..."

Wen Xinxin's mouth twitched as she looked at the man beside her. So you're... Red Bean Paste, the general?

Qiao Yang nodded coolly.

Wen Xinxin: ...Wow, so intimidating.

Five minutes later, Wen Xinxin blushed bright red. I'm not helping you quit. Just go eat some more desserts.
