The story has undergone major revisions. The chapters that aren't locked have been revised. I'll see it through to the end.
Synopsis:
At the border between two provinces, legend tells of an ancient place called Huangzhou, where the notorious bandit Zhang Chongjiang was buried along with his sunken treasure.
Centuries have passed, and the waters of the past have given way to towering mountains. The sunken silver of Huangzhou has long since become a distant legend.
Until one day, a woman appeared, claiming to be a descendant of the Zhang family. She said that Zhang Chongjiang had sunk more than gold and silver treasures: he had also buried the secret of an entire map.

Zhou Kan never asked anyone for help. Zhang Yao knew exactly what kind of man he was. In Zhou Kan's own words, he had a few "unnecessary scruples."
A man like him seemed destined to have others come begging him for help. And given his poor reputation, Zhang Yao could picture him perfectly: a green-faced, fanged monster who would stop at nothing to get what he wanted. Even when he seemed harmless, he would secretly set traps for people without batting an eye, make them willingly fall into them, then make them beg him to help them out. Even the King of Hell would think twice before getting his portrait tattooed on his back.
Besides, Zhou Kan had sought her out with ulterior motives.
Yet in the not-so-long time Zhang Yao had known him, she had heard him say the word "please" to her twice.
Once, he asked her to leave him behind if she ever found herself in danger.
The other time, she was on Zhou Kan's back as he trudged through the mountain rain, forcing himself forward despite his illness. He begged her not to give up on him.
"Zhang Yao, stay alive," Zhou Kan said.
At the time, Zhang Yao was barely conscious. As he called to her again and again, her awareness began to drift. "What about you?"
"I'll survive too." Amid the pounding rain, the man's voice was exceptionally firm. "Because I'm going to get you out of here."
Love is instinct, not a choice.
Love is loving you even when fate isn't stirring up trouble.

Upcoming novel: Divining Fate
"Do you believe the course of fate is predetermined and can be predicted?" Standing before a shrine, Shang Tu saw these words.
"What does that mean?" Shang Tu was confused at first, but soon understood.
Here, people scheme against one another, blood flows freely, and ghosts and monsters roam. She has no weapons, only a deck of cards meant for entertainment, and must survive with nothing else.
Life cannot be lived again, but the heart can be reshaped.
In this life, which cannot be lived again, she must play a terrible hand exceptionally well.
If fate can be divined, then there must be a way forward.

"You awakened me, only to give me suffering."
"You imprison me amid corpses and bloodshed, yet expect me always to keep the heart of a saint."
Divining life, divining death, and divining fate.
Theme: An adventure in love and peace.
I really like this style of supernatural writing. I'll give it a thumbs-up first, and then... That uncle's son's sister-in-law's niece, with all due respect, is the poster's cousin... Your series of relatives are all from my father's side, so I've circled around and come back, hahahahaha
This novel was really good before it was revised! ! !
Damn, you really want to write this article!
So this is about siblings. How old is the heroine?
The writing of this article has that flavor
Damn, this cover looks scary in the middle of the night. It's red and black, but it fits the supernatural theme quite well.
So, how about taking photos in a photo studio... Come on, keep up the good work! Sprinkle flowers
