Fortunately, the room was shabby, but the neighbors were warm and kind. They had helped her quite a bit when she moved in.
Lin Xiaohua offered one of them a cup of hot water and sincerely praised them: "You're such a good person!"
Though the neighbor's expression turned strange at those words, Lin Xiaohua assumed they were just embarrassed.
Who could have guessed that a month later, the neighbor would show up holding flowers and stop Lin Xiaohua on her way home from work?
The neighbor opened their mouth to speak, but was blown to smithereens.
One strange incident after another followed.
