Wei Woman

The king toured Wei territory, and when he returned to the capital, a beautiful woman was at his side.

She was stunning, so lovely that anyone would feel for her. As soon as she entered the palace, she became the king's favorite night after night, rose through the ranks by leaps and bounds, and was named the First Consort.

But the old hands in the palace all knew that the First Consort looked exactly like the late Empress Wei, who had died young. Even the noble title "First" was taken from the late empress's given name.

She was just a disposable substitute, and her present splendor was an illusion.

When Empress Wei's younger sister entered the palace one day, she would have nowhere left to stand.

Yu Sang kept someone in her heart.

That person was the moonlight and cinnabar mole in her heart. If the lecherous emperor hadn't looked exactly like him, she would never have deliberately seduced him.
