The Commandery Princess Is Mighty

After four years of marriage, Yu Shangxi had always believed that she and Shen Quechao loved and trusted each other completely. Even when she was implicated and sent to prison, she still worried that she might ruin Shen Quechao's future.

Only when Shen Quechao handed her a cup of poisoned wine did she finally see the truth. Their love had been a lie all along. She and the Yu family had ended up in this state because they stood in the way of Shen Quechao and his first love being together.

So after being reborn, Yu Shangxi set out to avenge herself and sate her hatred. On her wedding day, she wiped out the entire Shen family.

And then... Yu Shangxi was struck dead by lightning.

Given another chance, Yu Shangxi still couldn't let it go. She wiped out her rival's entire family and strung Shen Quechao and his beloved together like candied hawthorns. Then lightning struck her again.

Given yet another chance, Yu Shangxi had learned her lesson. She didn't lay a hand on anyone. She merely served them a wedding cup of poisoned wine, and still got struck by lightning.

The fourth time, she went after Shen Quechao alone, and lightning struck her once more. That's when Yu Shangxi finally understood!

If she couldn't kill him, then she'd be his mother!

She kidnapped Shen Quechao's beloved in the middle of the night and made her adopted daughter. Then she watched Shen Quechao and his beloved kneel before her and kowtow three times, calling her “Mother” through gritted teeth.

That finally made her feel a little better.

Come on, daughter. Son-in-law. Bow to your mother a few more times.

Mother dear! I'll make sure you stay pregnant, your house is full of pampered concubines, everything goes wrong, and your future is completely ruined.
