Please add my upcoming novel, The Mad Beauty in the Junior Tutor's Tent, to your reading list!
Synopsis:
Sheng Lei transmigrates into the body of an old madam. She kills anyone who stands in her way, be they Buddha or demon, and clears away every obstacle. Thinking she can finally relax and enjoy her golden years, she lets out a sigh of relief.
Then her good-for-nothing son, who she thought had died far away, comes back.
Only then does Sheng Lei realize that even worse than transmigrating into an old woman is ending up in a reborn heroine's revenge novel as a cannon-fodder character who doesn't even deserve a name, existing only in the memories of the lovesick second male lead.
She is the cannon fodder of all cannon fodder! And her good-for-nothing son is the lovesick second male lead she used to complain about endlessly.
In the original story, whenever the heroine wanted revenge, the second male lead stepped in! Whenever she wanted to make a name for herself, he stepped in! Whenever she wanted to use someone else's influence, he stepped in! Whenever she got hurt, he stepped in!
Even as he lay dying, her son, the second male lead, never won the heroine's heart.
But now... she's alive, her daughter-in-law is alive, and her grandchildren are all alive.
Her good-for-nothing son has a family, a wife, and children. How can he still be devoted to the heroine? Sheng Lei shudders three times over! Does this mean she's become the heroine's stumbling block, thorn in her side, and bane of her existence?
Sheng Lei only wants to stay far, far away from the heroine! But who could have guessed the heroine would provoke one person after another, stirring up so much trouble that Sheng Lei can't get a moment's peace? Her good days are over!
Fine, then! If you're going to make my life miserable, I won't let you have an easy time either. I don't care what kind of protagonist's halo you have, we're going head-to-head!

Synopsis of The Mad Beauty in the Junior Tutor's Tent:
Xu Jinhe is alluringly beautiful, with fragrant cheeks and skin like snow. But beneath that beautiful exterior lies a venomous, demon-like soul. Feared by her imperial brother, she is sent to marry the third prince of the Qi Dynasty.
The junior tutor, Wen Woyu, is handsome, refined, and elegant, with the grace of rosy clouds and the charm of the moon. When he first meets Xu Jinhe, she invites him to watch the prince and his concubines indulge in springtime pleasures. From then on, Wen Woyu avoids her at every turn.
But after just one meeting, Xu Jinhe decides he is hers to toy with, and teases him mercilessly until he loses all his decorum.
"How long does the princess intend to humiliate this humble subject?" Amid the spring curtains, their breaths mingling, Wen Woyu grips Xu Jinhe's slender neck. His eyes are bloodshot, his voice hoarse.
He is a member of the previous dynasty's royal family, secretly hiding here to overthrow the Qi Dynasty. The prince he meant to use as a puppet has had his path to the throne destroyed by Xu Jinhe. His plans to seize the kingdom have been ruined, and all the work of years has gone to waste. How could he accept that?
Xu Jinhe strokes Wen Woyu's throat with her delicate hand and speaks in a voice as sweet as an orchid. "It's just a game we both willingly play. Has the junior tutor gotten too caught up in his role?"
Wen Woyu truly believes it's all an act of false affection, until his schemes leave Xu Jinhe trapped by enemy forces. By the time he arrives with reinforcements, he is far too late.
A flash of crimson stands against the biting wind on the city wall. The blood has dried, her face is ruined, and only then does Wen Woyu feel his heart torn to shreds, his very soul shattered.
Clad in coarse hemp and white robes, he keeps watch beside Xu Jinhe's broken corpse, sharing her bed and pillow, then accompanies her coffin back to the capital.
Yet at a palace banquet, he sees Xu Jinhe in a brilliant red dress, her gaze full of disdain.
"Jinhe, my heart is clear and true. It belongs to you alone."
"I am the princess consort. I hope the junior tutor will mind his place and not overstep."
Reader's guide:
1. The heroine is truly unhinged, the kind who kills people.
2. To be decided.
Also completed: The Little Eunuch at the Coffin Shop, A Beauty Need Not Furrow Her Brows, and The Crown Prince's First Love Married Someone Else. Visit my author page to read them.
Theme: The devoted second male lead gets his happy ending.
It's great, you have your own life and your own thoughts.
The heroine is so stupid and annoying!
I like this ending. Although there are many unsatisfactory places, it is not bad at the end.
Sheng Lei should not panic about feeling hurt. After all, she is a nurse.
So when can we watch this extra episode? . . It's already next week
The heroine is finally going to die?? Very nice!!! Zuejing is finally dead!! Every time I see her drag Shilang back, I feel unhappy!!
So, does the male protagonist like the nurse Sheng Lei from time to time or the Sheng Lei he liked when he was young in this era?
You must be sick, I bought the extra but I can't watch it
Throw flowers! The end is coming?
I feel like the heroine is a bit delayed
