Doctor Fu’s Little Fairy

Mild-mannered on the surface | utterly irreverent | arrogant and brash | surgeon * adorable oil painter with a mind full of strange ideas

Fu Qingyan is the youngest neurosurgeon at the provincial hospital. The interns he's trained have all excelled, and he himself has been named one of the Ten Outstanding Young Talents for three years running.

Since he began practicing medicine, no problem has ever stumped his scalpel. That is, until a month ago, when his department assigned him an intern who was supposedly excellent in every way. Ever since then, Fu Qingyan hasn't had a moment's peace.

Fu Qingyan: "You're shaking so much. Am I that scary?"

Lin Xiaoxiao (It's not you who's scary. It's the lizard in your hand.)

Fu Qingyan leaned down slightly until their eyes were level.

Lin Xiaoxiao's scalpel shook even harder, then clattered to the floor.

Caught off guard by their eye contact, her ears turned red before she could stop them. She blurted out the first thing that came to mind:

"Y-yes, you're just so handsome."

"I'm practically... scared to tears."

Later, when Fu Qingyan had her backed up against a tree in the little woods, standing ramrod straight and trembling,

he stubbed out half a cigarette and lifted her chin with a wicked, bewitching smile. "Are you scared now, or were you scared when you shamelessly flirted with me?"

Think you're chasing a gentle, refined gentleman?

Hell no. He's a hot-tempered, attention-seeking, multi-personality big dog who can't be placated.

Theme: Chasing your wife always leads to a long road of regret.
