Please add it to your collection!] “What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of summer?” Xiang Nuan: “Luo Xia.” 1) At seventeen, Xiang Nuan transferred to Shencheng and was reunited with Luo Xia, her childhood friend whom she had been separated from for eleven years. She recognized him at first sight, but he had long since forgotten her. Back then, Xiang Nuan was pretty and reserved, and didn’t stand out. Luo Xia, however, shone like the summer sun, dazzling and brilliant. Many girls had secret crushes on him, and Xiang Nuan became one of them. Unfortunately, even by the end of their senior year, she and Luo Xia were still just ordinary classmates. Before graduation, Xiang Nuan summoned the courage to ask Luo Xia to fill out a page in her school yearbook. The wish he wrote for her was no different from what he wrote for everyone else: “May your future be bright.” In Luo Xia’s eyes, Xiang Nuan wasn’t special. Like all the other girls at school, she was just a tiny corner of that summer. 2) Years later, Xiang Nuan and Luo Xia met again at a hospital. Now he was a surgeon, and she had become his patient. Xiang Nuan had assumed that the man who had occupied not just her entire youth would be just as before, turning away and forgetting her. But this time, Luo Xia etched Xiang Nuan into the deepest part of his heart. “Xiang Nuan, could you give me a chance?” I secretly gave you so many chances before, but you never noticed. 3) Eventually, Luo Xia finally won Xiang Nuan’s heart. One day after they moved in together, Luo Xia happened to find Xiang Nuan’s high school yearbook in the study. He found the page he had written on, and in doing so uncovered the secret Xiang Nuan had kept sealed away for years. After the words “May your future be bright” came the secret crush that had filled a girl’s entire youth: “I secretly tucked a summer with you into every day of my life.” When he proposed that year, Luo Xia knelt on one knee and said to Xiang Nuan, solemnly and sincerely, “Nuan Nuan, would you let me become your summer?” ·The story opens in high school, with the heroine secretly in love with the hero.
