Beneath the Deep Sea

He Hong has always been a natural pessimist. His parents separated early, and he grew up eating at both households. Now nearing thirty, he has lost his fiancee, leaving only a little daughter behind. From then on, father and daughter have depended on each other.

It's not as if no one has tried to set him up, but He Hong thinks his bad luck would only bring trouble, so he keeps turning them down. He just wants to find a good person to entrust his daughter to, so that he can finally let go of this world in peace.

But what is the truth? Let's look at things from a different perspective...

He Hong's parents divorced halfway through their marriage because they couldn't agree on anything. Neither would give up their son, so they took turns looking after him.

The person who died wasn't He Hong's fiancee, but his mother's college classmate. She and her husband died in a car accident, and left their daughter in He Hong's mother's care. Since the girl only liked He Hong, he ended up looking after her temporarily.

As for finding a good person... He was thinking of finding a nanny or someone to help care for the child, but instead he attracted a whole pack of wolves.

And so, on his way to find an NPC, He Hong, the supposed pessimist who's unknowingly a drama queen, unwittingly found himself surrounded by admirers.
