[Crossover] The Misfortunes of Detective Kuroda

Kuroda Ryokyu was born with a villainous face, so ever since he was little, everyone was convinced he'd grow up and join the yakuza, just like his father had in his youth.

After being mistaken for a bad guy once again, Kuroda Ryokyu flew into a rage. "How could someone who likes pretty policewomen possibly be a bad guy? You bunch of looks-obsessed jerks! Damn it! I'm becoming a cop, no matter what!"

Rei Furuya: "Assuming you can pass the interview for the police academy entrance exam."

Hiromitsu Morofushi: "Good thing our interviews are scheduled right before and after Kuro's. We can use the opportunity to brainwash... I mean, change the interviewers' opinion of him."

With his two childhood friends' full support, Kuroda Ryokyu passed the interview and successfully enrolled in the police academy. After graduating, he single-handedly made sure the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's complaint box was overflowing every day.

Kenji Hagiwara: "Kuro and Matsuda together look like two corrupt cops. I think I'll stop going out with you guys next time, or Kenji-chan's reputation will get dragged through the mud too."

Wataru Date: "Hopefully the suspect next time isn't you."

Although people mistook him every day for a corrupt cop, a real criminal, a murderer, or a kidnapper, Officer Kuroda still became the pride of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department.

Jinpei Matsuda: "The kind of pride that shines because it's so shady?"

Kuroda Ryokyu: "Do we really have to keep taking shots at each other?"

Bonus Scene 1

On the first day of school, when he first met Kuroda Ryokyu, Instructor Onizuka thought: "I was terrified."

Six months later, as he bid farewell to six troublesome students, Instructor Onizuka said: "If you cause trouble in the future, just don't mention your instructor."

Bonus Scene 2

During their first week at the police academy, Rei Furuya was forced by Kuroda Ryokyu to drink a cross-cupped toast with Jinpei Matsuda, while Hiromitsu Morofushi stood by, smiling and applauding.

Kuroda Ryokyu declared righteously, "When will revenge ever end? I'm here to preside over a ceremony where Rei Furuya and Jinpei Matsuda shake hands and make peace! Drink this cross-cupped toast, and from now on, you'll be friends!"

Hiromitsu Morofushi: "May your friendship last as long as the pines and cypresses!"

Wataru Date: "Sounds good!"

Rei Furuya: "..."

Jinpei Matsuda: "Isn't this miso soup?"

Kenji Hagiwara: "Don't overthink it. Just drink."
