HP: Severus’s Rose

A coming-of-age story about childhood sweethearts, updated irregularly.

1. In this story about the generation before the original, the heroine, Rose Evans, is head over heels for Severus Snape and is his biggest fan. It is a love story about the two of them relying on each other as they grow up. The characters and plot include original elements, and the portrayals of canon characters are based on my personal understanding of the books and films. If that doesn't work for you, please click the X.

2. The male lead will go through some original physical and emotional torment, so this is not a typical sweet romance. The heroine was born and raised in Britain and is a local, not someone who transmigrated into another person's body or was reborn. She is proactive and dotes on the male lead. Petunia does not appear in this story; the Evans family has only two daughters.

3. The story was inspired by Flipped. The heroine's childhood appearance is modeled on Melody, the heroine of the 1971 British film Melody. Her appearance as a teenager and adult is modeled on French actress Isabelle Adjani.
