I Worked Hard to Become Captain of the Guard at Wen Ye Academy

When Yuzhang Weilai was five, he witnessed his parents being shot dead. His powers went out of control, and he killed the culprit. In the end, his uncle took him in. The Blue King did not send him to the [Center], but kept him by his side and raised him himself.

Three years later, the Red King, Kagutsu, exceeded the Damocles deviation threshold and lost control of his power. The Sword of Damocles fell, taking everything within sight, and everything Yuzhang Weilai had.

Once again, he was alone.

Then someone reached out to him again.

The man wore a sand-colored trench coat. His black hair was a little messy, and a faint warmth shone in his brown eyes.

He crouched down to meet the gaze of the still-young Yuzhang Weilai, and said, “Come join Bungo Academy. You’ve always been one of us.

It’s time to come home.”

Then, at the age of eighteen, Yuzhang Weilai became the captain of the Black Lizard security team, taking over from his predecessor to continue protecting their academy, a paradise for ability users.

1. A parallel world with Bungo Academy and Kingmakers. Dazai has already graduated. Yes, the Dazai mentioned above is Ibu Dazai.

2. Romance category. There is a first love, but it’s unclear whether they’ll get together.

3. The male lead’s appearance can be based on Yuzhang Xun. He is an ability user, not a non-King.

4. His ability is “Hellscape,” referring to the work by Professor Akutagawa, “Hell Screen.” “Hellscape” is another translation.
