Everyone loves him! He's a total heartthrob and a Gary Stu. That's all for now. I'll add more if I think of anything. Coming soon: Diamond Battery [Sports] Lin Youyi. A baseball prodigy. His record: Koshien champion pitcher. Koshien champion player. Koshien champion scorekeeper. Koshien champion team manager. His final summer of high school, at Koshien... as a spectator. Being unable to compete because of an injury is an athlete's deepest pain. Lin Youyi went on to study sports rehabilitation and found a career related to baseball. But the summer he missed... Every summer after that was filled with regret. May there be no years to look back on with regret. If he could do it all over again, he would absolutely leave no regrets behind!!! Then Lin Youyi was reborn. He was reborn in a parallel world. He became a middle schooler on an obscure youth baseball team, with only a handful of players and on the verge of disbanding. The person he used to be had become someone his younger teammates looked up to in a photo on the wall! He was brooding over having missed his final summer, but some people didn't even get a summer at all! His old school, once a baseball powerhouse, was now a total washout! They couldn't even make it to the Koshien qualifiers, let alone win a spot at Koshien. They couldn't even get past the regional quarterfinals!!! They'd fallen so far that they were now a nobody team eliminated in the first round! Seeing the coach sobbing uncontrollably... Lin Youyi secretly started trying to poach players from the powerhouse teams. Lin "Smooth-Talker" Youyi: "Let's play baseball together. You're the only one missing from my dream team!" The goal: Koshien and the national championship! Come on, let's get closer to our dreams in the hottest summer ever! Theme: Helping others is the greatest source of joy.
