Lin Youyi. A baseball prodigy. His résumé: Koshien championship-winning pitcher. Koshien championship-winning player. Koshien championship-winning scorekeeper. Koshien championship-winning team manager. In the summer of his final year of high school, at Koshien... he was a spectator. Being unable to play because of an injury is the deepest pain an athlete can feel. Lin Youyi studied sports rehabilitation and pursued a career related to baseball. But the summer he missed... every summer afterward was filled with regret. May there be no years to look back on with regret. If he could start over, he would absolutely leave no regrets behind!!! Then Lin Youyi was reborn. He was reborn in a parallel world. He became a middle school student on an obscure youth baseball team, with only a handful of players and practically on the verge of disbanding. His former self had become someone displayed on the wall for the younger students to admire! He was lamenting the last summer he had missed, but some people didn't even have a summer to begin with! His old school, once a baseball powerhouse, was now completely washed up! It couldn't even make it past the regional quarterfinals, let alone qualify for Koshien!!! It had fallen so far that it was now a no-name team knocked out in the first round! Restoring his old school's baseball club would be a long and arduous task. Lin Youyi secretly set about poaching talent from the powerhouses. Lin "Smooth-Talking" Youyi: "You're the last piece my dream team needs!" "Hey, hey, even a has-been was once a phoenix. Don't turn me down before you take a look at this roster~" There's nothing like snatching players from the powerhouses~ Koshien is the goal. Conquer the nation! Come on, the hottest summer ever. Get closer to your dream! Theme: The confidence and spirit of youth in its prime.
