I Married My Archenemy After Losing My Memory

One day at noon, Zhao Daiqiu woke up feeling glum.

She thought again about how, a few months earlier, she'd confessed to Cheng Yiqing, the top student and heartthrob at school, only to be rejected.

Back then, with the whole class watching, she had given Cheng Yiqing some chocolate and confessed in front of everyone:

"Cheng Yiqing, I've liked you for a long time. Will you be my boyfriend?"

Cheng Yiqing wore a clean white school uniform. His slender, pale hand held a pen as he worked out a problem without looking up. Silver-rimmed glasses rested on his high nose. Then he raised his head...

In a low, magnetic voice, he replied with just one word: "Get lost."

At those words, Zhao Daiqiu felt as though her heart were being scorched by fire, tormented and restless.

Her confession had failed, and from then on, she hated Cheng Yiqing.

It was already two in the afternoon. Reluctantly, Zhao Daiqiu found her school uniform, left the house, and went to school.

She hoped she wouldn't run into Cheng Yiqing there.

As she walked along, she felt that the buildings around her had grown old overnight.

The bell rang for class. She went into the classroom and discovered that the chemistry teacher had gone completely gray overnight!

While Zhao Daiqiu was still staring in astonishment, someone suddenly came running up outside.

The person, out of breath, stopped at the door and greeted the chemistry teacher.

Zhao Daiqiu froze for a moment. It was Cheng Yiqing.

Why did he look a little different? And why wasn't he wearing his uniform?

Zhao Daiqiu watched Cheng Yiqing hurry over to her desk, then heard him speak to her gently:

"Qiuqiu, what are you doing? Let's go home, okay? I'm sorry."

Zhao Daiqiu: ???

Only later did she learn that she was already twenty-five, but a car accident had left her memories stuck eight years in the past.

Even more astonishing, she had been married to Cheng Yiqing for two years.
