[Marriage First, Love Later. The Entire Novel Is Complete]
1.
Zhao Jiashi thought marrying her fellow air traffic control trainee would be better than marrying a stranger. She never expected him to have an ambiguous relationship with a colleague, then deliberately block her from getting her release and permanent position, forcing her to quit and settle down as a housewife.
She promptly called off the engagement and reported him.
When confronted with the report, her senior insisted that she was his fiancee and that their romantic problems were just a lovers' quarrel. Zhao Jiashi wanted nothing more than to cut ties, so she blurted out that she was marrying someone else.
When her supervisor pressed her, the name of the older brother she'd barely seen in years flashed through her mind. "Lu Shiwen."
Her colleagues and supervisor exchanged glances, trying not to laugh.
If she was going to make something up, she could at least make it believable. Who in civil aviation hadn't heard of Lu Shiwen?
The head of Tianji Airlines, a former fighter pilot, and a walking first-class merit award. He was immensely influential, with a background no one could fathom. No one could possibly connect him with Zhao Jiashi, a lowly trainee air traffic controller.
But then, the big shot actually appeared before them. Everyone was stunned, and they turned to look at the equally bewildered Zhao Jiashi, wondering how she would get out of this.
Her supervisor hurried over respectfully. "Mr. Lu, why didn't you come in and have a seat? We must have been poor hosts."
But the man looked only at Zhao Jiashi and answered casually, "I came to pick her up. She wouldn't let me in, so I had to wait. If she tells me to go east, how could I dare go west? In our family, she's the one who gives the orders."
Zhao Jiashi: "...?"
Everyone: "!!!"

Before he learned that his younger sister Zhao Jiashi was about to marry someone else, Lu Shiwen was in Australia, dominating the civil aviation market and enjoying a lofty position. He had no plans to return to China.
The arranged marriage was a last resort, and Zhao Jiashi didn't want many people to know. She hadn't mentioned it to Lu Shiwen at all.
But the prenuptial agreement drawn up by the other family's overbearing elders somehow made its way across the ocean and into his hands.
"They really think they're some kind of rich and powerful family." Lu Shiwen finished reading the agreement with a cold expression and immediately flew back to China.
Not long after, Zhao Jiashi received another unfair prenuptial agreement.
Only this time, every clause favored the woman.
It was drawn up by Lu Shiwen, and her prospective husband was none other than Lu Shiwen himself.
"Two years. When the two years are up, we go our separate ways."
But as the end of their agreement approached, Lu Shiwen had already delivered everything he'd promised, and more. The only thing he couldn't do was leave her alone.
He interfered in everything: what she ate and wore, where she went, whether she was warm, and how she was feeling. He had to be involved in every little thing.
He even suggested that she interfere in his life, too. If he came home a second late, she could check up on him and interrogate him.
