[Football] The Pope

There's a legend that has been passed around Serie A for years. Every year, some players mysteriously disappear, either vanishing without a trace or fleeing abroad. The one thing they all have in common is that they were once teammates with a young player. They say this young man is the heir to a famous mafia family on the Apennine Peninsula. Whenever one of his teammates doesn't play properly and makes the young master lose, a family member pours the player into a concrete pillar and throws it into the Pavia Canal. The young master has played for two years, and the water level in the Pavia Canal has risen by two centimeters. After being passed around for two years, the story finally reached the locker room in Milan. Everyone shuddered and turned their eyes toward Caesar Pope, who had just transferred to the team. Caesar: Thanks for asking. I'm in Milan, fresh off the plane. What? You mean Istanbul? He smiled at his teammates in the locker room. The Milan team: There's no way we're coming back from this! We value our lives, so let's play properly! Don't come any closer, aaah!!! Note: A short, silly story, not going premium, around 100,000 words, updated whenever. Set in 2005, with AC Milan. Warning: There will be no Miracle of Istanbul. Theme: A lighthearted, funny little soccer story
