The Gravity User Won't Let Me Love and Leave

Taizi was the first person to reach out to Nakahara Chuuya.

He admitted that at first it really was just an imprinting instinct, which was why he kept clinging to her, until he realized that she was the opposite sex from him.

But he couldn't understand why Taizi would believe the Yorozuya's nonsense about "you and us being best friends in a parallel universe," yet refuse to take responsibility for an old friend like him.

Watching Taizi appear at the inauguration ball for the leader of the Port Mafia, brush off his cold attitude with her usual smile, and then link arms with her tall dance partner to chat with a group of even taller people,

Chuuya knew the answer.

That woman liked tall people!

Why else would she have used him and then dumped him?

Was it because of that dance partner's steak-like hair!?

Taizi was probably the most responsible person in all of Yokohama.

Even if a penniless boy had to plaster little ads everywhere to promote himself, claiming that Taizi owed him a meal in a past life, she would find him a job.

And of course, she took care of the perpetually rent-delinquent members of the Yorozuya, not to mention the shameless adults living rent-free at the Araki residence.

But one person quietly refused to let her take responsibility for him.

Watching the orange-haired young man appear at her younger brother's inauguration ball and treat her coldly, Taizi thought bitterly:

That ability permit she'd planned to send to the other leader as a betrothal gift would be better off propping up a table for those freeloaders at the Yorozuya.

Damn it! She'd handed out wedding candy to everyone on the whole street, and to every younger relative in her family too, including the grandnephew currently holding her arm!
