After I Saved the Top Student

The young delinquent Han Jun saves top student Lu Xinghe, and his delinquent days are over for good.

With no choice, he moves into the top student's home and receives an elite education.

Han Jun: No, I just want to be an ordinary wage earner.

With no money left, he tries to fall back on his old line of work, but the top student takes him to a chess tournament instead.

From then on, the chess world has two great demons, crushing countless opponents.

A post stays pinned forever on an anonymous chess forum: #The only one who can beat a great demon is another great demon#

Great Demon Han Jun denies it three times: No, I can't beat the chess god. He's crushed me, too!

"Breaking! The chess world's twin prodigies caught doing this on a variety show!"

Han Jun: I can't beat Lu Xinghe at chess, and I can't beat him at [redacted] either. QAQ I'd better just study.

Lu Xinghe smiles, quietly taking all the credit.

From then on, Han Jun becomes obsessed with studying, and he and Lu Xinghe both get into top universities.

Later, after achieving fame and success, Han Jun boasts in an interview: "The reason I became so successful is that I couldn't measure up to my wife. So I married him and made him part of the family."
