Dream Chaser in the Entertainment Industry

Literary version: Mo Fei never imagined that one afternoon, while passing through an empty old campus, he would meet the angel of music destined for him. Nor did he ever imagine that from then on, he and the angel of music would be entwined for a lifetime. He Sheng never imagined that he, so devoted to acting and to music, would meet someone who appreciated him. Their wishes even complemented each other. So he had to hold on to him and never let go... Lighthearted version: Mo Fei passed through the old campus and happened upon He Sheng practicing. The two gradually came to regard each other as kindred spirits, only to end up rolling around together on graduation day. Rolling around together?! Rolling around together?! Rolling around?! All right, since we ended up rolling around together, I’ll take responsibility. I’ll write scripts for you and make films starring you. You’ll act in the scripts I write, and, while you’re at it, be responsible for loving me and building a life together. This is a story about a gentle, devoted top who is obsessed with directing and screenwriting and loves doing makeup, meeting a tsundere, adorable bottom who is obsessed with acting. They graduate from college together and then make their way into the entertainment industry... Perhaps... it also includes how they help each other along before they become famous?! A few things to note: 1. This is a one-on-one romance. There is a cannon-fodder bottom who throws himself at the top, but the top is devoted to the bottom, so there won’t be any infuriating melodrama. 2. The main story begins when the top and bottom meet by chance on campus, so some of it describes their college days. Those events are closely connected to the entertainment industry. 3. There is a reborn character in this story, but he is neither villainous nor an idiot. 4. Since the story focuses on the protagonists’ pursuit of their dreams, it has a sweeping feel and includes many detailed depictions of film sets. 5. The protagonists mostly build their careers in Europe and America, so much of the story depicts competition in the Western film industry. I’ll do my best to portray it realistically, and please forgive any inaccuracies. All in all, this is a somewhat different kind of entertainment-industry story... a bit of an experiment...
