A Transmigration Journey in Search of Immortality

A thousand years ago, before ascending, the leader of the Tie Suan Sect prophesied that the path to immortality would be severed, and that no one after him would ascend to the Upper Realm.

And just as he had foretold, for the next thousand years everyone failed to ascend and died with regrets.

Under these circumstances, modern young man Shi Shi transmigrated as the heir of the Tie Suan Sect, a sect famous throughout the cultivation world for its members' jinx-like prophecies. He resolved to stay in the sect, happily living the life of a homebody heir. But fate had other plans...

His father said, "Son, the Xuanmen Sect has invited us on an expedition. You're leading the team."

His mother said, "You don't have to go. Why not come with me to a tea party and meet a nice girl while we're at it?"

He... o(╥﹏╥)o: "Fine, I'll lead the expedition."

Then, on the expedition, he ran into a handsome stranger. (★ ω ★): "Would you come home with me, gorgeous?~~"

The stranger :-): "Sure. If you fall into a pit, I'll come with you."

Long afterward, lying at the bottom of a pit, he looked back on the past... How had he ended up unable to climb out? Maybe it was the moment he stepped outside the sect gates?

This novel is also known as: The Whole World Keeps Digging Pits and Waiting for Me to Fall In.

Tips:

1. This is a sweet and satisfying novel.

2. The main characters are from a metaphysical sect, so this is an unconventional cultivation story. Cultivation ranks are touched on briefly, but there is basically no level-up progression.

3. If you're interested, please read through Volume One.

4. This novel is on hiatus while I think things over and build up a backlog. My current main project is a short crossover with Mei Ying.

Theme: If ascending to immortality is impossible, should we still keep searching for a way to ascend?
