This is the story of a saintess who spent a hundred years meditating to cultivate a pure heart, only to be forcibly bent.
It is also a passionate, unrepentant love story about a goddess who loves until the silkworm spins its final thread.
Blurb:
That year, a dance of heavenly grace before His Majesty made three thousand guests fall in love with her elegance.
She turned down two imperial betrothals and walked away with ease, simply because she followed her lord's teachings: never be tainted by worldly desire, never let private feelings sway you.
Confident that she had seen through the mortal world and that nothing could disturb her clear, meditative heart, she never imagined her decision would bring such misery to the best child in her eyes.
Only after awakening from a grand dream was she finally willing to draw her sword for love and fight for love. But by then, she had lost her chance to repay her kindness.
What she received in return was a desolation in which they could neither die together nor live together, and the tragic end of a beauty who had faded away.
As I keep watch over the place abandoned by the goddess, would you still descend to earth for me?
Tonight, the goddess grants a dream, and the saintess has feelings. When we meet again in the mortal world, will your heart be moved?
"Dance of Heavenly Grace" -- In Memory of Lord Feng Ze
Long ago, the Feng clan had a peerless beauty,
whose dance among the clouds resounded through the heavens.
Three thousand guests were dazzled; sun and moon dimmed as they went mad for her.
Swift as the wind, she chased the shadows,
then stopped like a swimming dragon turning through waves.
Soft as a fairy's sash, her movements wove a tapestry,
her blade concealed its edge, spilling no blood.
A flicker of thorns, and she flashed like lightning;
her unyielding strength could withstand ten thousand pounds.
She knew by heart fifty thousand sword manuals,
with clear brows and bright eyes, her lips touched crimson.
Tender as water, she had few kindred spirits.
Who could walk beside her?
Her ethereal sword song, free of dust,
was elegant and grand in its silence.
Drunk, she drifted into a dream of Nanyu,
free across the four seas, all of them her home.
She sat in the spiritual realm, contemplating the cosmos;
her name spread through the divine domain and six realms.

(Just for fun, with no commercial value)
The southern wind blows late tonight,
It drifts into my heart.
Once again, I wait alone through the night,
Wait through the night.
Our hair was never tied together,
Our hands were never clasped as one.
Alone, I watch the dawn arrive; the years ahead stretch on,
The years stretch on.
I draw out a slender, scarlet thread,
And weave it into robes of sacred silk, white as snow.
An indestructible diamond body,
Grant me a dream of the goddess,
A dream of one life among mortals.
A devoted heart, with the Divine Shield as a bridal gift.
A hundred years in meditation,
Seeking truth in a troubled world.
I cannot avoid the autumn waters, or the mortal world's stain,
The mortal world's stain.
I left, yet should not have left;
I stayed, yet why should I have stayed?
My soul has split away, but my heart's obsession runs deep,
My obsession runs deep.
Long ago, a beauty held a sword and stabbed at the clouds.
Neither gods nor demons, ice nor fire, could stop her.
My heart yearns ever more,
But the saint's heart is hard to reach.
Half a lifetime passed, and still I could not have her.
By the Crane River lantern, my youthful longing turned my hair white.
Heaven granted a stairway to the blue clouds,
And you raced like lightning to save me.
My heart loved you until death, and still the love would not end,
The love would not end.
I long for you to spare me a glance,
To turn back for love.
Do not leave me alone, with no one to keep me,
With no one to keep me.
Do not become a fleeting player in a play,
Do not become a prisoner of love.
How can we break through the pain of mortal passion?
How can we break through?
Step down from the lotus throne,
And give your heart to tenderness.
The pearl of the vast sea will prove our vengeance,
Prove our vengeance.
At last, you swore to stay with me forever,
Stay with me forever.
Theme: What if love has no hatred
Love that is too forbearing and too wild, has failed too much infatuation and misunderstood too many sacrifices, but after all, the lover has endless power, but is unable to hate, and unable to leave the love that once warmed the endless coldness of lonely life. The words that echoed in my ears at the end of the song were the words of the junior sister, who had been telling the senior sister from the beginning of the story: "Sister, you don't understand the emotional indifference of the Gods." Yingying, who was born a saint, did not understand the meaning of this sentence. But actually she understands. She understood this kind of loneliness - the master relied on her, the people respected her, and gods and men also courted her and used her because of her extraordinary talents, but she was still lonely. The reason for being lonely is that no one can see her. The loneliness in Jiang Yan's works is omnipresent, covering the sky and the earth. Only the loneliness of the strong is not lonely. No coincidence. Yaoqin is lonely. Everyone has wanted to follow her wishes since she was a child, but no one can exchange feelings with her. Her parents were killed by her master, and the only remaining relative was her brother. Facing his brother's anger, her belief in survival was stronger than her guilt and protection for her relatives. In a life-and-death situation, she chose to kill her brother to protect herself. The only person who entered her heart was Ji Li, but the selfishness of possessing love was equally higher than the selflessness of giving love. She could not tolerate someone else in Ji Li's heart. She did not know how to win Ji Li's injured but still self-respecting heart. Yao Qin, who had won the battle for royal power, was defeated in love and was alone. Even the most powerful Emperor in the world laughs at his loneliness. He didn't care about his brothers who committed crimes: "If I care about them, I will really become a loner with no relatives." The Emperor of Heaven tolerates sand in his eyes and does not cut down the forest of life to reveal its desolate true nature. But this wisdom is also a compromise for the lonely. People who do not get more attention from the author are also lonely, because they cannot warm the lonely strong. For those minor characters who have not entered this love that tests life and death and people's hearts, and cannot understand its true meaning, Jiang Yan has no sympathy for them. As can be seen in other authors, there is no mercy for villains, or even characters who can only be regarded as buffoons. Those authors may be enjoying their own power and willfulness. Jiang Yan also presents such scenes, such as Ji Li defending Yingying and humiliating Xiaoxian Luanmei, and Yao Qin blaming the maid who called the queen by mistake, which also shows a kind of cruelty. But Jiang Yan handles such incidents with a sense of pride and reserve. The pride lies in the fact that he has no intention of being a kind and generous person, but only protects what he loves in his heart. The reserve lies in the fact that he has no intention of bullying the weak, and has never vented the author's dissatisfaction in life. Strong people do not claim to be moral paragons, nor do they use bullying figures to compensate for the frustrations in life. But there is also no connection with them who are lonely. There are also people that the gods want to protect, and they don't even have names. The people of Nanyu only exist briefly in the dialogue of Saint Yingying's prayer ceremony. This is a daily ritual. Thousands of people have undeveloped life stories. Jiang Yan accidentally wrote about how difficult people's livelihood is. Protecting people is the initial mission, but it is not the ultimate meaning. Yingying thought that she would not be able to return to her husband anymore, so she still did not return to her master, because she followed her sincerity, thus eliminating this unthought-through responsibility. The hope of living for the people and the kindness of the Lord did not comfort her loneliness, so they could not tie her down. If you are lonely like this, how much will you love in life? Jiang Yan's writings are not about living without love. Loneliness and affection are two ends of the scale. How much loneliness there is, how much affection there is. "Are you lonely?" Yingying, who could not express her feelings or express them, shocked Ji Li and also the readers with one sentence. Life is lonely, how can we survive without company? Ji Li, who could not find any warmth among the relatives of the God Clan, wanted to get close to this person from beginning to end, and Yingying, who could not enter the heart of anyone in this world, could not lose this companionship with this junior sister who resisted the dull routine of the God Clan's life and the loneliness of human life. "How about coming back? Ji Li has been really lonely these past few years." "Whether it's love or hate, I'll be with you." Love is the worthless little doll that Yingying is willing to buy for Ji Li at a high price. Love is that Jili cherishes this worthless toy as a priceless life. Love is that Jili can give up the aegis, divine bones and even the life of a god without hesitation. Love is that Yingying can silently accept humiliation, misunderstanding, guilt, even separation. Love is that Ji Li is heartbroken. When you come to someone you can't forget, love is when Yingying betrays your king, abandons your friends, loses everything, and waits for someone who can't come back. Love is when Ji Li remembers all Yingying's likes and prepares a new home. Love is when Yingying, who doesn't know how to say "love", thinks of Ji Li's every wish and fragility, and unquestionably expresses her concern... Life and death are as big as pecks and drinks, and love is as big as small. The ropes of love entangle the two protagonists tighter and tighter, no matter how many hardships they endure, they struggle, cry out, leave, and return. This rope is stretched to the limit and plays an extreme sound, which resonates with our heartstrings. Such a bond of love accompanies the entire story, us who read the story, and the author who writes the story. In the world built by Jiang Yan, love is a greater force than the power and giving of God. Therefore, Ji Li, who was born as a god, cannot accept the indifference of human kindness in the divine world, so Yingying, who is far from becoming a god, can only save his lover's life with his deep and pure love. Between the lines, calmness and passion are intertwined. Conflicts large and small are intertwined, but they are not only driven by careful plans, but also driven by uncontrollable emotions. The omniscient perspective controls all characters and clues, and calmly chooses where to bury the plot and where to lift the curtain. However, it is interspersed with "crying out" narration from the character's perspective. The orderliness of God's perspective is instantly abandoned, and the first person expresses his heartfelt voice and the second person expresses his loved ones. The blood and tears are fierce, and the love and words are tender and present each other, one by one, and the blood is not taken care of when it is intense, but the tenderness can caress away every tear and every sigh. Writing like this also means facing loneliness calmly and embracing deep feelings with enthusiasm. Some injuries may not be easily repaired. The scars left behind will make people feel a lot of emotions and have endless memories. There are regrets in the world and deep feelings in the memories. If it ends like this, it is nothing short of artistic perfection. But Jiang Yan also doesn't care about this kind of perfection. She wants to fulfill the protagonist and the lonely person's affection. Because only deep love can completely defeat the most terrifying enemy, loneliness, and win back the happiness that should have been possessed, admittedly lost, lost but never forgotten.
It's so well written, it's so cruel but I can't stop.
A fierce battle is coming!!!
The senior sister wants to push the junior sister to the Phoenix Lord again_(:3∠)-
Yingying's scar has really healed and she has forgotten the pain, and she feels that she is doing it for the good of her junior sister. If her memory is really wiped away this time, will she still be forgiven?
Is Senior Sister going to be abused again? Even if Yao Qin saves her junior sister, domestic violence cannot be washed away. I hope there are other ways to save her life.
Thank you, author sister, for sharing such a great story.
Love you so much!!! Bonus points!!! Like! Love you!
Congratulations on the completion, may you give me flowers
I finished reading it with tears in my eyes~
