I Still Can't Let It Go

At sixteen, Zhen Ni met Jiang Yuhuan. It wasn't some idol-drama-style encounter, but fate can be wonderfully strange, tangling two people together until, before they knew it, they had eyes for each other.

Jiang Yuhuan smiled at her, sincere and radiant. Then he let his smile fade and nodded. "Me too."

They both said it, but neither said or did anything more.

People wondered why they didn't get back together.

Their answers were much the same, roughly: "We broke up because we weren't right for each other. But unfortunately, apart from her/him, I can't find anyone better."

"We used to love each other, though perhaps things got a little unpleasant later... Mm, but Jiang Yuhuan was a wonderful boyfriend. I really, really liked him." Zhen Ni said with a smile in an interview. She blinked her long lashes, her bright eyes curving into crescents.
