Question: If you ran into your ex while traveling, after you'd dumped him in the harshest way possible right after high school graduation and blocked him on every platform, what would you do?

A. Pretend you didn't see him

B. Run away

C. Go eat some super-fresh, delicious swordfish with him

...Well, that can't be a hard choice, can it?

That's right! You picked C! After running into the poor ex-boyfriend you'd dumped, you got invited to eat swordfish he'd caught off the Italian coast, together with his friends!

You: Well, what can I say? My adorable ex invited me so warmly...

Whether it was the breakup you didn't really mean back then or the sparkling eyes right in front of you now, you simply couldn't refuse this man named Nishinoya Yuu.

If someone asked you what you regretted most about moving to Japan because of your parents' jobs, you would definitely say dating Nishinoya Yuu.

But if someone asked what you were most glad you did after coming to Japan, you would give the very same answer: dating Nishinoya Yuu.

Rekindled romance × mutual devotion × happy ending

1. They both still have feelings for each other, and rekindle their romance.

2. The story begins when Nishinoya Yuu is fishing for swordfish in Italy.

3. Out-of-character characterization warning.

4. Tentatively planned: an evil version bonus chapter with a little coercion, but the story is sweet overall. (You've evolved!)

5. Romance-focused. (Bows gently.)

6. I'm terrible at writing blurbs. 😢😭
