Professional Stand-In, Bed-Warming Darling

In his previous life, Bai Yuan was a C-list actor who looked a little like a famous A-list star. Because of that resemblance, he was kept in the bed of Zhou Yan, the CEO of the Zhou Corporation. He worked like a perfect sleeping pill, saving Zhou Yan from the agony of sleepless nights caused by unrequited love.

But his mistake was wanting to possess Zhou Yan not only in bed, but in his heart too. For that, he suppressed his own personality.

Yet when Zhou Yan held him as he slept, he called out the A-lister's name. He bought Bai Yuan things the A-lister liked. Even when Bai Yuan had an allergic reaction and was hospitalized because of it, Zhou Yan never came to see him.

When the A-lister returned, a contract was all it took to kick Bai Yuan out. Even so, when Zhou Yan was in danger in his previous life, Bai Yuan was the first to rush over and shield him. In the final moment before closing his eyes, he saw Zhou Yan heading toward the A-lister. The heartbreak in Zhou Yan's expression shattered Bai Yuan's heart.

Now that he's reborn, who cares about Zhou Yan? Isn't making money and building a career much better?

So he clocks in and out every day, arriving at the hotel at eleven sharp. "Hello, Mr. Zhou. I have an audition after midnight, so please hurry up and fall asleep. And I hope you can get me that script you promised as soon as possible."

"What? You want it now? Then you'll have to pay me for overtime. One commercial isn't enough."

"I promised to make sure you fall asleep. I never said you had to see me with your eyes open. How about you give me another job?"

Later, just as Bai Yuan has become famous all over the country, pictures of him climbing into Zhou Yan's bed are leaked, and a flood of online hate comes pouring in. To prove his innocence, Bai Yuan buys a bed and pats it. "I'm really just a professional hypnotist. Mr. Zhou hired me to help with his insomnia."

"Don't worry. I can prove it right away. Mr. Zhou will fall asleep in my arms in two minutes."

The usually cold Mr. Zhou accepts the invitation and sits on the bed, then covers the camera. "Not suitable for children. No peeking."

Bai Yuan: "???"

Before long, the audience hears the ambiguous sounds of a deep kiss from beyond the camera's view.

There's a little groveling-for-his-wife arc.
